Master Dance Class with Maura Donahue, Artistic Director- In Mixed Company, NYC

"My partner and I love this company. As a longtime dance viewer and grants panelist in New York City, In Mixed Company performs with lush movement reminiscent of modern dance traditionalist Trisha Brown yet diverging in its own lyrical profundity and exacting laser-focused martial punches within the formality of concert modern dance.

-Dance aficionado-

Maura Donohue possesses over thirteen years of experience teaching at the University level – both in Master Classes, Workshops and semester long courses in Technique, Repertory and Composition. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the City University of New York/Queens College and an Assistant Professor at Hunter College. Maura has taught technique workshops for professional dance companies in Hong Kong and Vietnam and for dance students in Thailand and Vietnam.

"DANCE INSIDERS WHO LIKE THEIR DANCING AS A TOTAL EVENT, NOT DEVOID OF STRONG SOCIAL COMMENTARY, SHOULD PLAN ON CATCHING THIS PUNGENT MOUTHFUL OF WASABI."
